Chuck JONES
Né le 21 Septembre 1912, Chuck Jones débute en 1932 dans l'animation comme nettoyeur de celluloides au studio Ubbe Iwerk. Il rejoindle studio Leon Schlesinger et devient en 1936 animateur. Il travaille au département de Tex Avery. En 1938, à 25 ans, il dirige son premier dessin animé "The Night Watchman." Il travaille aussi briévement aux studios Disney en 1955. En 1962, les studios Warner ferment définitivement. Au studio de lla MGM, Jones réalise des épisodes de Tom et Jerry. En 1966, il dirige l'un des plus mémorable épisode spéciale pour la télévision : "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Il est décédé le 24 Février 2002.
