Résumé
En l'an 3028, la Terre est anéantie par des créatures venues d'une lointaine galaxie, les Drej. Les rares survivants du drame tombent aux mains de cette cruelle race d'extra-terrestres, qui en font leurs esclaves. Quinze ans plus tard, le jeune Cale découvre, à l'interieur d'une bague que lui avait léguée son père, les coordonnées d'un mystérieux vaisseau spatial, le Titan, ultime planche de salut du genre humain. Aidé par le capitaine du “Valkyrie”, Korso, et de son intrépide copilote Akima, Cale se lance dans une périlleuse odyssée, à la recherche de Titan et d'un monde nouveau...
(Set in the future, Earth is under attack by the Drej aliens. Young Cale is separated from his father in the race to escape. After a catastrophic explosion, Earth ceases to exist. Humans are now homeless refugees, struggling to survive in a hostile galaxy dominated by aliens. Fifteen years later, Cale is a rebellious teenager, stuck on a third-rate asteroid. But not for long. Cale soon learns that his father has left him a ring containing a map to a legendary spacecraft, the Titan, which holds the secret to salvation for the human race. With the aid of the Valkyrie's Captain Joe Korso, his beautiful pilot Akima and a ragtag crew of assorted aliens, Cale embarks on an adventure through space. With the Drej close behind and betrayal from within, Cale must become a renegade warrior and a new kind of hero as he completes his mission to find a whole new world.)
